Well, were back from our 4th time out on or new (used) boat here in Tampa Fl. Ever time we come home I have a big bruise somewhere and limited range of motion. So my boat told me, your out of shape and your stupid too. This past Sunday. Ok, I'm brave and feeling my 185 Sport is runnin good, Lets go out and have some fun. Welll.. Ramp was busy, People backin down and floating some, how did he do that jobs. Yours truly forgot to put in the plug in to his little puddle pirate tub. Yes this means swimming the current at the mouth of at The Anclote river into the Gulf af Mex. Now granted I'm a strong swimmer but I have to admit its kind of hard to thread a plug and tighten down with a wrench held between my teeth and 35 foot Sundancers leave a nice wake. I know I know. What kind of...... anyway would forget.. We headed across the intercostal (Gulf Mex) to a little Island Only 3 miles away. A breeze right? Ok. Narrow Channel if everones in 20 foot lake boats. Jeesis Almighty and.. what the heck was that? had my 3.0L surfing.. hold on! We get out to this beautiful state park, tide was out. Boats beached in the sand. Just beautiful. Now we got to go back accross the channel. I ripped accross there like I didn't have any damn sence. Hit a wake from a Yacht, (It didnt look that big). So we decide to drive up the river to Tarpon Springs. 0 wake (still) the big guys can't help it. I learn fast, get in between his wake and follow. We going to go dock and eat but we started to smell oil. My buddy look in the bilge at at least two qUARTS OF oIL IN THe Bildge. Oh good , my fourth time out, i'm having fun now. My wife asks, How much did you pay for This? Now back to the dock with a spewing oil filter. Salt water so don't forget to clean. The damn things like having a new baby at 53. We love it though, A child can make you young again!
