Pretty basic for a lot of you guys. But I just bought a new (to me) Yamaha 6 hp 2 stroke. I am fairly mechanically inclined but I wont to be armed with as much info as possible. I need to pull off my carb and give it a thorough cleaning. Does anyone happen to have a good diagram or video of actually removing the carburetor? Any and all help would be great!

Anytime you intend to work on an engine it is always best to invest in the engine manufacturers "Service" manual. It saves you time, frustration, having to ask questions and getting multiple conflicting answers, and most important, it saves you money because you are less likely to screw up the job.

Always a good idea to check the manual, but honestly, if you are even a little mechanical inclined, it’s a doddle.
