Probably a dumb question, but I have an 18" 2007 Angler center console (180f). I'd like to install a fish finder in it, but the dealer wants $275.00 to do it so I'm going to do it myself. My last boat it was easy to route the wiring, but this one has me stumped.

Do I remove floor panels to do it? any ideas? Apparently Angler does not have/supply manuals for their boats..

No need to remove the floor panels usually. Under the floor and console, there is usually a PVC pipe type of opening in which the wiring is routed along with steering system etc... Use an electrican's fish wire, a piece of garden hose, or anything stiff/long enough (be nice!!) to fish through the opening. Then, hook (or tape) your transducer wire onto the end of the fish wire and pull it through to the center console.

Pick up a 12 volt hot wire off one of your guages, or wire directly to a fuse panel of some type (if available) under the console.
