I have used my zodiac (96 futura fast roller) a couple of times and i think its great. When i pump the zodiac up with the foot pump and remove pump filler fitting i have to quickly seal off the valve with the plugs or the air rushes out. 
Are thes valves suppose to self seal when the filler fitting is removed ? This only applies to the valves on the main tubes the other valves have screw in adapters tha seal immediately when the filler pipe is removed (floor,Keels). They then have to be unsrewed to let the air out. If what i am describing is normal please let me know if not do the valves in the tubes need maintenance/ replacement. <br /><br />Thanks for any help.
