Those poor unfortunate Republicans! First it was 18 minutes of blank tape that most certainly would've cleared former President Nixon of the Watergate scandal. Now it seems that a bunch of e-mails that most certainly would've cleared the Bush Administration of wrongdoing in the federal attorney firings have mysteriously disappeared.

Story

Progressive talkshow host Ed Schultz was in Madison today. I had the day off and decided to drop in for the show. There was a recently discharged Marine in the audience that was a Communications Specialist with personal contacts in the White House that explained that to lose all of those e-mails in question, the White House staff would have had to simultaneously lose 22 laptop computers and hundreds if not thousands of back-up files kept in a White House vault.

But hey, this must certainly have happened. I mean it's not like an administration with such an undeniable history of never misleading the citizenry would lie about such a thing.

Iraqgate be damned! Al Capone was never convicted of murder or anything like that. He went to prison for Income Tax Evasion. This federal attorney scandal just might be what brings an early end to the Bush Administration. Or at least a hefty chunk of it.

For a moment there,I thought that Roman Polanski made a sequel to Rosemary's Baby.
Now it seems to me that Karl Rove is feeling the squeeze.
The person whose ego was mostly hurt by the election results,is probably the same person who is behind these revenge firings of district attorneys.

I hope he fires 100 more. If you're gonna go down, go down swinging!

They must be keeping them laptops on their person at all times, and then hiding them in the vicinity of libs.. Because libs have a nasty habit of stealing the "W" keys off of the keyboards, and getting their droogie judges to comfiscate them for 'evidence' or some such rot.
I can't blame themn for out-smarting your operatives. I can congratulate them tho :)

Heck yes!!! I I had a puter within range of a liberal;, I'd hide it too... I'd claim "the mutant hordes musta grabbed it off my desk when I went to starpukes"... "Pesky little varmints!"

I want to say as a regular member.
It must take some doing for people to have this much hate for one man.
I set here day after day reading it and it must take up a lot of people's time to figure out what they are going to say next about him.

Ok, regular member over now.
Back to your regular tuned stations.

To tell you the truth SBN, I think Dubya is out of the loop on this one just like was out of the loop in the Plame scandal. All this is going on behind his back. My own personal opinion of the source for most of what is wrong with the Bush Administration rides squarely on the shoulders of Carl Rove. I still like to think that Dubya still has a sliver of a chance at redemption, but blind loyalty and fear of being President without Rove pulling the strings makes that terribly unlikely.

There was no Plame scandal, as no laws were broken; as this bs about gonzales- no laws broken. The dems need to get a life, and think about protecting us from the muslims that are in the process of planting a HUGE footprint in our legislative system?

SBN, if you don't understand it by now, you never will. Pity. Vic Gold, a self-described Goldwater conservative said in his book Invasion of the Party Snatchers:How the Holy-Rollers and the Neo-Cons Destroyed the GOP, "For all the Rove-built facade about his being a "strong" chief executive, George W. Bush has been, by comparison to even the hapless Jimmy Carter, the weakest, most out of touch president in modern times. Think Dan Quayle in cowboy boots."

It doesn't take "some doing" to dislike this president. Just read the evening paper.

I think the understatement of the century came yesterday, when the administration's press secretary said: "We screwed up, and we are trying to fix it"

You think? And to what precisely are you referring to, madam press secretary? You have to be more specific.

Most would say not enough. But there have been 3,296 brothers, husbands, wives, mothers, fathers, sons, and daughters killed.
That's low. Comparing the sacrifice of our men and women in uniform in defence of our country with the suicide of Vince Foster...Shame on you.:(
