rough idle

I have a 2002 merc 60hp 4-stroke efl that misses and stalls at idle already put new plugs in (champion) all wires are on going to dealer on monday . Runs smooth at 1200 rpms and up.

Low speed idle circuits are probably clogged or are clogging up in the carbs.

I would clean the carbs and if this an all of a sudden thing you might have trash going through the fuel lines. If you are running an in-line filter I would change it and if you are not I would add one AFTER the fuel pump and Before the carbs.
