rough running evenrude 50 vro

starts right up, runs ok for a while and then seems to run rough like it is running on one cylinder for a few seconds and then clears up and runs strong. fogged it when I put it away.. is one of the carbs clogged? should I take it out and run it on a load to try and clear it?

There is a risk of serious engine damage if running with a clogged carburetor.-----No fuel means no oil as well.------So verify that carburetors are clean.-----Might post results of a compression test.-----Check for spark that jumps a gap of 7/16" or more.
