Just picked up a late 40's Royal Atlas 5 horse (2 cylinder). She started on the first pull with a a short of ether (I know it's frowned upon). The motor is model # 9466 (the 66 could be GG) 90144 (the 4 could be an A). Serial # 297321. I believe it's a 48. I went to a number of sites but there's no listing for the model # or serial. By the way I paid $20.00 for it; its missing the recoil (if it has one) and the side covers. Going to put her in the test tank tomorrow and see how she runs after I replace the fuel line and add a filter.
