rpm change from 3 blade to 4 blade

With the same pitch and similar diameter, how is the rpm affected from a 3 blade to a 4 blade (both aluminum), up, down or the same?

You will usualy lose 100-200 RPMs when going from 3 to 4 blades.

A 4 blade is generally meant to run at a higher X dimension therefore the rpms will be about the same if both the 3 and the 4 are from the same manufacturer and the same or at least a similar design.
