I have a 15ft v pad bass boat with a 1973 85hp rude at wot the tach registers past 6k at 45 mph (gps) the bad thing is the tach only goes to 6k so it might be alot past 6k the tach is a quicksilver set to the 12 pole setting i know the max rpm is 5500 it is a ss omc 13.250 x 17 prop not sure it doesnt have a stamp on it. Is that rpm posible or could the tach be messed up im pretty sure its set right at idle it reads 800rpm
