Well, after months of troubleshooting , my issue has changed. I found the inside of the top hose running to the top carb was blocked with some sort of eatin up, yellowish and hard like dried glue. Also plummed fuel line straight to the feul filter under hood , bypassing the cowl quick connect. The sudden drop from 4000 RPMs to 2500 RPMs and then up and down is gone. The thing I am dealing with now is different. I ran about 3 miles and it ran great. Fished for a few hours and started back up to run back and it felt sluggish. Got on plane and thought I had weeds on the prop so I checked it and found none. Got back on plane and ran back to the dock, felt sluggish and took long time to build up speed, like it had now pep but still climbed slowly to 4500 RPM and would not get back up to WOT like it did on the way out. I put one of those $20 Seasense bulbs on it 2 months ago. Think the valve is bad? Any ideas?
