Rub rail advice?

My old boat had aluminum rubrail originally. The old rubrail is too far gone to attempt restoring it. I am going to install a new rubrail using one of Taco's flexible vinyl kits. One concern I have is that the width kit I need is rather wide (2" plus) and the turns at the transom corners are very tight (90deg.)
I know a heat gun can be used to make the turns. Has anyone had experience using a rubrail of this type? Are the corners going to be challenge?

Yes forget the heat gun, just place the coil in the hot warm sun, it is black and will heat and get quite soft. Get a gorilla or two have one hold the tubing as a anchor another pull and strectch it out around the boat. Then you follow around screwing it down every six inche's or so. Do not screw it in hard just enough so it flushe's up to the boat...;)
