Rub rail leak

Think I finally found my leak !after fixing a few water leaks on the motor I thought I had it.having a a lot of people in the boat she stated takejng water again when plowing.looking in the engine bay noticed water coming in on the right rear corner helm side.how do I fix this?di I reseal the rub rail and caulk the boat seam .or just the rub rail? Boats a1990larson cc

They'll probably move this post, not a mercruiser issue. But the fix is pill the rubrail trim and reseal the top to the tub. Then reinstall rail. You might consider using 4200, last a lot longer than sillycone

get uv stable 4000 vs 4200 if the sun will ever see it.

Pill the rub rail?got the 4200 .thaks for the help guys sorry bout posting in the wrong forum

I'm thinking he meant to say "pull the rub rail", so you can get at the seam it hides, which is actually where the leak is.

Well pulled the rail resealed the back and the rail with 4200 thanks again for the help guys
