1972 16 ft crestliner bow rider- how do I remove the trim after pulling the bumper out? There are not any fasteners holding the trim. Do the staples hold the trim in place? Any suggestions?

Thanks john

A couple pictures would help. Some that want to help were not born when your boat was made..

What staples? Where are they? If they're in the trim then they are what is holding it in place. Probably also some adhesive between the trim and hull :(
