I went out for walleye tonight and went to take off and my motor reved real high like there was no load on it. I thought maybe the shear pin broke somehow, but when I would put it in gear at low idle the boat would move then when I went to take off we would not go anywhere. Well I never knew that there was a rubber sleeve between the prop and the metal drive sleeve that the shear pin goes through....anyway to get to the point I need to know now that I got the prop assembly apart can I replace just the bushing by getting a new one and hydralicly press it in or must I replace the whole prop.....also does anyone know if this is a common problem with this style prop?

I don't see the bushing (sleeve) listed in the parts book.Maybe a good prop shop can give you some advice.

My guess is if you could get the bushing,it would require a LARGE hydraulic press to install.

DHP
