I have a 1968 Marinette w/ single 318 chrysler. The old rudder was made of steel and deteriorated I have made a new one with stainless steel, does anyone know if there is a bearing in the hull? Thanks,
There is a rudder log in the hull that the rudder sets in with a packing gland on the top most are brass and don't wear much, we service many 40 + year old boats with the original still in good shape
