Rudder Position Indicator

The biggest problem I have when we take the boat out, is having the wife put the boat on the trailer. She won't learn to back the trailer down the ramp so she is left to tend the boat, I think the biggest problem she has is keeping the motor straight while coming on the trailer. So my thought was to give her a visual indicator, have any of you had any experience with a steering wheel mounted indicator like this?

have you thought of wrapping a piece of light colored tape arount the top of the steering wheel? it wont be 100% but would give her a much better idea where the wheel is. (10 cent fix....)
