1st time I was brave enough to boat on a holiday, it wasn't too bad, I did notice few people waved, normally almost everybody does. I did get stopped for inspection which never happened before, but it was actually cool and they gave me this sticker and a neat whistle. no sucker though, I think a grape sucker would have been nice, maybe next time:D

The only organizations that can issue those stickers are the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary and the U.S. Power Squadron. These groups have no enforcement power so if you were out of compliance, they could only advise you of how to fix the problem. We're not even allowed to notify law enforcement of the problem.

think it was coast guard auxiliary, it was voluntary and complimentary. did you see the whistle? its got 3 different chambers for 3 notes:joyous:

I've had many safety inspections and they're done to try and save lives on the water....lots of inexperienced boaters out there who might could use an inspection...
