runabout paint

I have a aluminum runabout (aquaswan) which I would like to paint. The hull below the waterline needs refinished . I would like to use a roller and brush. I believe I can do a nice job my way, however I am not sure what paint would adhere to the aluminum bottom while being exposed to the water. I know I have to clean and sand the area to be painted. Any suggestions you may have would appreciated thanks marvxyz2

Woodonglass I followed your link and, I think what you're doing with that boat is awsome. A lot of useful info there.
