Running of Muffs?

This might sound like a dumb question to the boat experts, but I was wondering if my outdrive needed to be trimmed down while on muffs. If I had to guess I would say yes, but I rather be safe than sorry. Thanks in advance.

Your drive needs to be trimmed down anytime the boat is running, so you don't tear up those u-joints.

Does it matter which side of outdrive the muffs are on? Since water only comes out one side.

No, just don't run the rpm's very high.

What Zach said. You can rev it a little, very briefly. Keep your eye on the temp guage.
