Running problem

Hey,

Got a 5 Hp Briggs and Stratton...runs for a while and then sounds like it runs out of gas
any ideas what that be caused by?????

Does it start back up or does it need to cool down. I'd start by doing a compression test when cold and then another when hot.

The gas cap vent may be plugged up.Try loosening the gas cap and see what happens.If it runs with the cap loose,you need a new cap.
