Take the fuel connector off the hose, or just press in the ball stop. Pump the bulb, and see if any fuel is coming through.

Did it run out of gas? Might have sucked something into the float needle. It should stay running (maybe not good) just using the fuel bulb even if the fuel pump is bad. If it is not then the fuel is not getting into the carb.

The first thing I would look at would be the spark plugs, to see if they are wet, or dry. Also when you remove the plugs, tap the electrode end in the palm of your hand to see if there's water on the plugs. It is possible that your fuel may have been water contaminated, (ethanol loves to attract moisture), and strange as it may seem, I've encountered some accidental "diesel fuel" contamination.
