1989 Merc/Mariner inline 4 cyl. 100hp<br /><br />While at Idle or really slow speeds the temp holds steady at 145F. Once I get moving the temp gauge will drop all the way back to less than 100F (the lowest my gauge reads) Is this normal for an outboard? I could see how more engine rpm would make the impeller spin faster and push more water through, but cooling it to that extent? <br /><br />Thanks<br />Dan
