Here we go again my next project , my trailer

Brakes on my ez loader duel axel, duel braking system stopped working?
Supports a 21 footer.
Upon inspection fluid resavior was dry.
Refilled, hand pumped actuator and fluid was spraying all over aluminum frame.
Upon inspection found a 3 ft section had rust and a pin whole developed.
Going too Auto zone purchased 4 ft of new brake line, with all connectors. Rented crimping tool.
Cut away removing all rust, and installed new brake line.
Hand pumped actuator and no leaks, and actuator was getting hard too pump from fluid reaching all wheels.
Took for a ride and still no brakes.
I have too bleed brakes.
I live in Fl and boat all year.
WHile I was under boat noticed springs had a lot of rust and some on axels.
My next plan is too lauch boat, working easily, tackel wiring, and address rust.

I have no sand blaster
Just orbit sander, drill sander, plane sander, two hands.
Once I get rust off springs limmited rust on axels

What would you boaters recomened how I should tackel ?
Any cleaner sold at Ace or a special material at boating or trailer shops.
Should I throw paint on springs,? or thats a waist of time, painting axel is easy enough

If actuator gets hard while manually pumping, and after bleeding still no brakes should I replace assembly or what else should I look for?

I have not yet done it to a boat but a cheap HarborFreight angle grinder with a round wire brush in place of the discs made really short work of glue and carpet pad attached to a concrete floor. Total investment less than $25 for both.

I plan to use it on the trailer when I strip it down in early Spring. I have coil springs so most likely I will just spray them with some rusty metal primer before I paint them.

Salt is always the big issue, you can remove the rust and paint everything but if there is salt/rust behind it your just masking future issues.

So I guess that you need to wash all parts to remove any salt before painting/sealing.
