My 89 90hp has a severely rusted tilt motor that I need to replace, Yamaha OZ sell a gold and diamond encrusted one to suit my engine for around $650.00 USD which I simply cannot afford.
I have found a couple on the net, Iboats will not sell to Australia but other vendors will with a smile

Yamaha changed trim and tilt units around 1992, I was wondering if the 1992 to present motor will physically fit the 89 units? as the entire T/T Assembly is interchangeable right through the years. I am not worried about wireing as I can fix that.
Any advice or hints welcome.
