Hello everyone
I was wondering if i could use rustoleum mirror effect spray paint to get the mirror finish on my pontoon cigars. Fresh water use only. Any comment would be greatly appreciated.

first, welcome aboard. you can try it, however you will most likely be disappointed.

Mirror effect is to be sprayed on the back side of glass or acrylic to turn it into a mirror. not sprayed the front side.

plus, being a paint, you would need to properly prepare your toon logs for paint by taking about a hundred hours, cleaning, masking, sanding, chemically etching, priming, then painting. not to mention to properly cover your toon logs with 6 oz rattle cans of rustoleum with the requisite 5 coats, you are looking at about 150 cans.

here is the link to the rustoleum paint. https://www.rustoleum.com/product-catalog/consumer-brands/specialty/mirror-effect

now, if you want to spend the same 100 hours, cleaning, masking, sanding, followed by another hundred hours with various buffing polishes, buff the toon logs to a mirrored finish, then cover with sharks hide protectant, you can get a few months of shine from the toon logs before they start to oxidize and you repeat the polishing
