Hey, I have an 88 36x14' Boatel Houseboat that has sprung a leak in the rear wall of the toon. It is rusted underneath where a battery tray was located. It has a quarter size hole that I temperarily plugged with magic steel putty. I have come up with a plan to try to back my flat bed trailor under the rear of the toon and ease the boat back until the thing is out of the water so I can grind and weld a patch over the area. Our lake is currently flooded so I plan to find a dirt road that has a deep ditch on one side where I can try to run the toon on the other side in a bit of water to keep from dragging it in the gravel. I am hoping my tandom axle trailor will handle the weight of the rear corner of the toon. I think the boat weighs around 18k without our stuff? The wife thinks her 2010 F150 4x4 wont pull it out without her truck breaking. We just traded off our Dodge Megacab w/ cummins so I think it was a jab at me. I dont have access to a trailor big enough to handle the whole boat soooo. What do you all think?? Thanks Mark
