S hook clips?

Anyone know what those things are called that you attach to an S hook that closes them so they help prevent them from popping off? I think they're rubber or plastic. I know I've seen them and for the life of me I can't find them searching the net. I'm ordering some stuff from iboats and want to get some if they have em. Thanks.

Do you mean a clip with a spring-loaded trap?

nah, thanks tho. it has the same function but it can be added to a std s hook. it's a plastic or rubber sleeve-like thingy that slides over the s hook that has an arm that can be attached across the s opening, after you hook it to the hitch loops.

maybe i'm hallucinating...

those are the rubber ones, but the rot out after a season or two. didnt last very long at all on my setup. Better off with s-hooks that have metal retainers on them.

That's them! Thanks for the advice, at least now I know i haven't (completely) lost it.
