S L O W takes too long to load ads

I've tried loosening my security settings, but I just can't seem to get the ads to load in any kind of reasonable time. I enjoy this sight but it takes sometimes a minute to go from one page to another. If I try to click on "johndoesstarcraftrehab project" it will go to that page and freeeze up until it can load all the stuff that is tagging along. I am trapped waiting until everything is ready to go, then I can browse that page. Everytime I move from one page to another it takes a minute or so to catch up.

Is it me or is it you?

I used to visit several times a day, but just can't take the slow pace anymore, please help me get it fixed. It is only here, I visit several other sights that use this forum software and they are OK.

We've had concerns with the traffic we are going to experience this year. I do not believe it is the ads, just the amount of viewers and requests being made to our servers that is slowing things down. I'll chat with our Ad guy on Monday and also bring up that maybe it's time we buy a new server to support the traffic.

I appreciate the reply, I spent a couple hours here today, and it was not terrible. I did a "one...onethousand" count when moving for about the first twenty pages or so with an average of about 20 seconds to change a page.

Was this happening all day? Or was it just for a short period of time?
