safe pre mix fuel mixture for four stroke

I`m repowering my boat with a 4 stroke engine.The tank has about 50 gallons of 50:1 .How much of the 50:1 should I pump out and then refill with straight fuel can i run in my 4 stroke without hurting it?Its a 115hp efi motor.Anybody else ever had this problem.My boat sat full through the winter but I found a sweet deal on a 4 stroke and bought it.My thinking is that i should siphon out about 25 gals and refill.Any thoughts?

If you had cans to save it in, you could run it mixed with straight fuel in your car or pickup too.
If you take half out, you'll still be at 100:1 with a re-fill of straight gas..

Better let the 4-stroke gurus answer your question there....I'm not qualified to say..

i think you may be fouling things that aren't suppose to. got a old VW bug, make a mosquito fogger.

If it was a carbed engine I would say dilute it to 100:1 and burn it up. I don't think I would run even 100:1 in an EFI 4 stroke.

Got a carbed 4 stroke engine around, like a car/pickup, tractor, lawnmower, etc.?

Man, i wouldnt even risk it. You talking about possible problems you might be causing in the new motor. Just pump it out and dispose of it or do what JD said and use it in a lawn mower. I wish i had that much extra fuel laying around that i could put some stabilizer in and save for mowing my yard this summer. Going to the gas station for 2 gallons each time is a pain.

I'm sure you know some fellow 2 stroke boaters in your area who would purchase the older gas at a discount.
I've seen it done around here a couple times.

Dilute it as much as you can and run it. Worst case, you foul plugs.

Don't put it in a modern car - the catalyst won't like the oil. If you've got an old 350 truck or something like that, run it through that vehicle.

Alternately advertise free "premix" gas on craigslist - someone will come get it and pump it out.

The 4 strokes have and O2 sensor that is not going to like extra OIL

Get a simple 12v electric fuel pump off Ebay for a few bucks. And some hose. And some 2 stroke friends or Craigslist it. Buck a gallon, bring your own cans. Get rid of it...

Is there an electric siphon safe enough to use on gasoline?

no there is not a safe pump. hose small enough to go thru transom drain. open fuel sender, and siphon out. easiest way.
