Safety Chain Replacement

What is the best way to attach this type of safety chain to this trailer?
The instructions say to use u-bolts, but it does not say where.

If it's long enough, I'd bolt it behind the jackstand.

I say behind the jack also. Looks like 3" channel weld to that (or bolt).

Do you recommend running the u-bolt through one link or using a bigger diameter(stronger) u-bolt and loop the chain around it?

on this trailer.... just run the chain from the bottom around the center piece of the tongue and back.... run a bolt or split link through both halves of the chain near the tongue to create a loop that can't come loose from the trailer and you're good to go.
