Hello,<br /> I have a 1979 70 HP Evinrude and would like to install a safty kill swith for it. The kind that you snap to you belt or whatever with a cord attached to kill the engine if thrown from the boat. I don't plan on getting trown from the boat, but I fish alone a lot. Is there anything available after market as my boat doesn't have one? thanks for the help....

Re: SAFETY KILL SWITCH

Yes, it is easy. You can buy a switch and lanyard for $10 or $15. You need to know which wire to splice it to. Post this question in the Envinrude engine forum and you will get a quick answer.
