Sometime in the year 1971 I had a dream about sailing from Georgian ay the Wiarton Area to my home waters on the Detroit River " LaSalle Ont " This summer I purchassed a Paceship Westwind 24 which is now located at the Wiarton Marina I have been working on her every spare minute and dreaming about sailing her home , I have searched high and low for someone with experience to sail home and train me on the way , I have had a few offers all of which have fallen through , today My Dream has crashed I will have to truck the boat home , I'm depressed and feel like getting drunk

Re: Sailing Dream

Tom,

Take a sailing class or sail a few times iether by yourself or with an experienced sailer on the boat, then go for it. This may not be the best advice, but after reading Sail and Cruising World for 6 years I know more sailing terminology than most sailers I meet. Also read "The Saga of the Sailing Hillbillies." Sailing is not as hard as it looks.
SOulWinner

Tom,

I have read a hundred times in the sailing magazines "If you don't get started, you'll never go" So go with God and be safe from evil. :)

SoulWinner
