My grandson (16)Casey and I went out on the Sound to get us some salmon. I got his pole set up, started trolling slow, and told him to take the wheel while I got mine rigged. Had to add a dodger, hoochie, etc, so it took me some time. Next thing I know, some guy is shouting at us. I turn around, and Casey who was busy watching his pole had run us into another boat. Knocked the pulley off his downrigger, his weight, and ruined his cable. Cost me $87 to replace for him. This boat was the only other one out there for about 10 square miles but we hit him.

He's not a little guy...6'2" about 220. But like most boys, his brain has not developed as fast as his body. He was in the dumps but I was able to get him to laugh about it, and had a good time.

Jerry
