Salmon Shark Fishing

Anybody here ever fish for Salmon Shark in BC waters? Curious if these are around south of the Queen Charlottes.

I have seen them caught off the west coast of the Charlottes. According to Wikepedia they range as far south as California. I have never fished specifically for them though.
