Sap on a shirt

Does anyone out in iboat land know how to get sap off a shirt? Don't know where I got it from but I have 2 stickey spots on my shirt. Any help would be appreciated.

Go- Jo or any lanolin based commercial hand cleaner should do it. Might also try WD-40, but I don't know if it would leave a stain or not.

Try lighter fluid. "Goo" remover that you can buy to remove the sticky goo from stickers is nothing more than lighter fluid, except it is 5X more expensive.

Malibu...<br /><br />Use Terpentine to remove the sap. Terpentine is made from tree's, such as Pines and will disolve the sap. Once the sap has been disolved, blot the shirt with a clean cloth and wash the shirt as normal. It might take a a couple of flushings with terpentine, but the sap should come out, without damage to the cloth.<br /><br />...Bob in Calif...

Brakeclean works good as well, but test an area first.
