Is there a way to dissolve poured in foam?

I have a ProKat 2860 - no wood in this boat - that due to a bad bit of luck and a couple design flaws has the foam in the forward part of the sponsons full of water. The shower drain actually went into the foam instead of into a sump or bilge... the previous owner seems to have had poor maintenance practices that also led to water getting into that foam.

I don't need to decap the boat or anything so drastic, but I would like to remove all of the foam (and install another bilge pump). Problem is that I would have to cut a half-dozen big holes in the liner sole to get to the foam to try to tear it out manually. I am hoping there is a solution that will allow me to either melt it out with a solvent or at least get it to be brittle so it can be taken out more easily.

Thoughts?

Don't think anyone has found anything to do what you want. If they did, it would be shouted from the roof tops.

Yeah there are Chemicals that will do that but...NOT without harming the fiberglass hull. Manual extraction is the only practical method.

a cup brush on the end of drill extensions with a cordless drill and a shop vac are the closest to a magic removal there is.
