ok well went for a pleasant little cruise.... last one of the season.... will be winterizing in the next few days and ordering the supplies to shrink wrap her soon also.
Not a bad saturday.... I dare say the best one out of the rest of the year lol
i been winterizin for the last 10 days. still ain't done. got remove batt., 303 the interior, repack wheel brgs. left at the very least.
drive is off and in the basement. i won't be boatin till next season......
well what a saturday it was... how does it go this will be either the 1st or second best day of my boating life (well with this boat anyway) and no I didn't sell it! I bought a 92 wellcraft excel 20sx today. live here northern indiana which it has been raining the last 4 days but the sun peaked out and I think the temp hit 57 so my wife and I took a cruise on OUR 1ST boat. hope to get it out a few more times this week before I have to join everyone else in the winterization process. Oh and the good news is we didn't yell at each other at the boat ramp. I did have a good laugh watching her try to back the trailer up! (I love her dearly she won't back her bug up with mirrors let alone my truck with a trailer but she tried and thats all that counts practice makes perfect right.) oh and it only took me 3 tries to put it on the trailer.
