Scagg ?

Well not a good day. I started to leave the lake today and my brother pulled his trailer tire under the scagg (Spelling??) and bent it. I knocked it back around staight but I may have someone look at it. My question is can it be repaired or replaced? and How much?? It is on a<br /> 1989 xp150 evenrude Thanks

Howdy, XP-150.<br /><br />If you got your skeg straight without breaking it off you are probably okay unless it starts messing up your steering.<br /><br />A prop shop can straighten or repair it for about $100, if you can wait a while.<br /><br />If it is broken off, you can repair it yourself with a SkegGard (Cabelas, $100) and no waiting.<br /><br />Good luck.
