Re: scammers

They would not try it, if it did not work, at least once in a while. Until everybody is wise to these simple scams, they will continue to come.

Best thing to do is hit the "delete" key and move on having a nice day.

Re: scammers

You'd think at some point they'd get someone with a little better command of english to write up the blurb.

Re: scammers

Reply and tell them if they send you cash, you will rewrite the letter to be more believable.. but they still can't have a puppy ;)

Re: scammers

Tell them that you are having a special on young dogs and will send one for free. Then go out and find a Pit Bull that has not been raised properly and is hungry. Send the dog immediately.

Re: scammers

They don't want your puppy. They just want your money. This is the one Nigerian scam where they say they will send you a big check with lots of extra money, and after you take your share then send the rest back to them. The check will be a counterfeit and bounce shortly after you cash it, the money you sent out will be real, and they will have taken that money. No "shipper" would come and the puppy would never be picked up at all.

Re: scammers

Give them the address of the local police and tell them to send the check.
