Re: School assignment help..
Thats exactly what I was looking for! Thanks for the help. I knew this would be the best topic to chose because of the information I would get here! I will let ya know how it turned out eather next saturday or the saturday after that, my class is 9-12:40 saturday morning. The hardest part for me is stage fright but like the teacher pointed out the first day we are ALL nervous at first.. I think Im going to make a check list for a pass out that I can go over with the class and show the proper way to put on a life vest. The writing part Im fine with (already did all the english classes) its the stand up and get all shakey part I need to work on!
So thanks again to all who replied..

Okay....... I am in front of classrooms and large crowds every week. Here are a few tips......
First - Remember you are the same person as everyone else. No one is better than you on your subject and they want to listen to what you have to say. Just be yourself..... DO NOT try and be something you are not.
Second....... If you make an error .....big deal! You are probably the only one who knows you make a mistake anyway.
Third...... PLEASE do not script what you have to say! Speak naturally and be confident.
Move around while you are speaking and make eye contact with everyone but do it one at a time. By the time you are done speaking to the class everyone has looked at you and you have scanned everyone at least once.
You will do fine.
I have taught classes to other instructors on how to overcome stage fright. I made them do an outline on how to overcome it...... bottom line relax and be yourself!
