Ive been given a running 1977 Evinrude 25hp model# 25753s. Is this a good motor or a problem child?? What is the "s" for on the model # and is it a long or short shaft??

Those are very nice reliable motors and will run for a very long time with proper care. The S is just a production code. Freebie is better than great.
