I have a 1984 Scorpion 217 (22') and the Coastguard plate is worn off. I would like to determine how many passengers this craft is rated for. Any help would be appreciated.<br />Bob

Ya, I was on USCG and saw the formula. Take boat beam divide by 15 get a fraction times by length wella the max uscg peeps allowed
My boat 8 ft / 15 = .5333 x 21 = 11.2
care to not over load weight thats another problem altogether
