Back in the early 60s, most engines had switched to 50-1 ratio or 1 pint oil for 6 gallons gas.
Of course, if you want to be safe, go 24 to 1 and if she starts to foul plugs badly
try decreasing,.
Unless it is a plain bearing engine though, 50-1 would be correct.
Try the old outboard site for a more definite answer.
