Scott Atwater -How To: gear oil change

I have a boat with a 1960 25 hp Scott Atwater motor. I need to know how to change the gear oil. There are 2 screws, one close to the prop and 1 a few inches forward of the prop. I assume I fill from one of these and the oil is pushed out through the breather- which I'm thinking must be where the water comes out when the motor is running. I can get a picture if need be.

Drain removing both plugs,Fill through the rearward plug till oil come out the forward plug.Plug forward hole then rearward hole.
