Our first outboard back in the '50's was that same engine (not yours). I think dad bought it because of the bail-a-matic which worked great.<br /><br />Merc had much higher hp engines of the day in that size and I envied those who had them.<br /><br />We rented planked boats and out little 10 wouldn't even plane them.<br /><br />Mark
