Just picked up a Scott McCulloch 10hp outboard for my aluminum fishing boat. Don’t know a whole lot about the motors. Would like to know what others think about that model. I think it’s a 1959 from what I have found so far.

They were a fairly decent motor. Had some cool styling. Older models were famous for water pump problems, but this one should be ok. You won't find parts at the corner gas station, but they are out there if you search. You need to get acquainted with the Antique Outboard Motor Club. www.aomci.org
