can anyone tell if they put hook in jon boats for safety to keep bow down at wot .i have a 22ft seaark with 120 johnson.

Might call sea ark since they are still in business making boats. They will probably need a year & model...

I've never seen a sea ark (ever) or any jon boat hulls w/ a noticeable hook, but that certainly doesn't mean they aren't out there.

thanks buddy . this might not be the right thread , the deal is at wot the bow whats to run a little flat . people telling me it has a hook ?

Sounds to me like you need to set the motor angle.

i can trim bow you and down till about 3/4 throttle then it lays down and cant trim up . . when you say angle . and you saying a jack plate or some type of spacer with angle to it ?.

No, since we can't see your boat, it sounded like a manual tilt/trim motor that hadn't been setup to keep the bow from plowing at WOT.

Is your sea ark rated for the 120? At 22', maybe more?

2cyl or 4cyl?

You can't give us too many details.... or too many pix...

Sea Ark or their dealer is/was of no help?
