Sea bee model identification

I would like information about a See bee outboard motor model # 025-3562 and serial # 201550. I know it is a 1.5 hp motor but would like to know the year of manufacture. The owners manual is in good shape as well as the motor. Are the decals available? How do I place a value on it. The owner has no idea how to price it. thanks Randy

48-49 1.5 built by the Gale devision of omc.First year of production.only made for 2 years.You might ask about decals at aomci.org.Don't ask about value there.
Value is difficult.it depends on condition,condition,condition.running adds to the value.Value also depends on who is buying.A collector might pay $500.
for an operating better than factory new motor.Is it worth that much? that collector thinks so.You might check ebay for similar motors.
I think the 1.5 is rare but rareity doesn't necessarily mean great value.

Go to an aomci meet and get an unrestored one for 50 bucks
