Sea Foam

I have a 1990 40 hp Johnson, not sure of the model number right now but is the "Tracker" version mounted on a Bass Buggy Pontoon boat. Engine has working VRO on it. Any thoughts on running SeaFoam in the gas tank? Not a Decarb, but just as a fuel additive.<br />Thanks

Use a good quailty oil and it will prevent the need for additives in most cases--Bob

use the directions on the can, lots guys run it in their gas, myself included

I don't have a problem with it in 4-strokes. I'm not a fan of additives in 2-strokes. Some additives mess with the oil's ability to lubricate.
